Artist Susan B. Luca, from a family of New England artists, began her painting studies in New Hampshire at the New Hampshire Institute of Art, and the Sharon Art Center. She is currently continuing her studies of fine art painting by attending the Dennis Sheehan Academy of Painting.

Susan's home and studio are located in the historic South End of the beautiful coastal city of Newburyport, MA. Susan is an active member of the Newburyport Art Association, The Essex County Painters and the Newburyport Ten Plein Air Painters.

Susan enjoys landscape painting outdoors with the sun, breeze, sounds of crickets and birds adding to the process of capturing the beauty of nature on canvas with oil paints.
